David Honda, PT

David Honda grew up in Santa Barbara, California and is one of four boys. While growing up, David maintained an active lifestyle, participating in sports such as football, baseball and basketball. David received his undergraduate degree in Health Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1978 followed by his graduation from Children's Hospital School of Physical Therapy (Los Angeles) in 1984. Prior to moving to the Vail Valley, David worked for UCLA's outpatient physical therapy clinic.

Although David liked living in Santa Barbara, it was his love for the mountains that brought him to Vail permanently in 1988. He has owned Vail Sports Medicine Physical Therapy, P.C. since June of 1989. He is a well-known and respected fixture in the Vail Valley, with over 25 years experience treating patients with orthopedic and sports-related injuries. David specializes in treating all orthopedic patients, but has a special interest in treating those with knee, shoulder or spinal problems. He and his wife Cindy have one son, Davey, and whenever he can, he enjoys a game of golf and cheering on his son in golf and baseball.

David currently treats patients in the Vail, Edwards and Eagle locations.
